OUR LEGACY
Formerly the RMHC Golf Tournament Thunder Bay, this event continues a long standing tradition of community support - now under the name Jordin Jewel Foundation.
MESSAGE FROM OUR CHAIR
Over 25 years ago, we started this tournament to honour our daughter, Jordin Jewel and to give back to an organization that meant so much to our family during an incredibly difficult time.
What began as something very personal has grown into something much bigger than we ever imagined. Because of you and other caring sponsors, we've been able to support countless families from Northwestern Ontario who are forced to travel for their child's medical care. Today, I wanted to share an important step forward.
We will be continuing under a new name꞉ Jordin Jewel Foundation. While the name has changed, the purpose remains the same. We continue this in loving memory of our daughter Jordin, together with the same dedicated committee members and volunteers behind the work.
Funds raised through the foundation will continue to support Ronald McDonald House Charities Toronto and Ronald McDonald House Charities Southwestern Ontario. Houses that at any given time see families from Northwestern Ontario account for approximately 30% of their occupancy.
